What we collect
HalimiLABS does not collect, transmit, sell or share personal information or app activity from Playa Oracle. The app has no user accounts, advertising SDKs or analytics SDKs.
Location
If you grant permission, Playa Oracle uses your location on your device to show your playa address, provide navigation, retrace a route and help remember your camp or bike. An active route may use background location for directions and arrival alerts. Automatic Bike Saves use background location only after you explicitly enable them in Roam. You can turn them off at any time. Location data is not transmitted to HalimiLABS and does not leave your device through Playa Oracle.
Motion and notifications
If you grant permission, motion data is used on your device for the shake-to-cast gesture. Notification permission is used for event, route, sunrise, sunset and sky alerts you choose. Playa Oracle does not transmit motion or notification activity to HalimiLABS.
Information stored on your device
Favorites, alerts, filters, camp and bike locations, trails, routes, notes, Chronicle entries, custom cards, card preferences and settings may be stored locally so they remain available offline. The optional 18+ confirmation stores only a yes/no setting on this device; Playa Oracle does not ask for or store your birth date. Use About, Privacy & Support → Erase All Playa Oracle Data to remove this information, or delete the app.
Your choices
Location, background location, Precise Location and Notifications can be changed in iPhone Settings. Automatic Bike Saves can be turned off in Roam. Playa Oracle has no account and the live Camp, Friend Deck and All Wanderers sharing service is not enabled in this build, so this version does not send cards, votes, aliases or other app data to HalimiLABS.
External links
Playa Oracle can open external websites, including HalimiLABS and Spotify, only when you choose those links. Those services operate under their own privacy policies. Playa Oracle does not receive information about your activity on those external sites.
